Obituary for Kathleen Howard Burke

Kathleen Anne Howard Burke, 91, died on November 25, 2006 at Hospice Savannah after a short illness. A native of Savannah and long-time downtown resident, Mrs. Burke was married to the late Dr. Arthur M. Burke with whom she built and managed a successful dental practice. Mrs. Burke was a communicant of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. She is survived by her three children Kathleen Michaela Burke of Washington, DC, Arthur Michael Burke III, and Timothy Joseph Burke, both of Savannah, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Island Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
